The Higher Education Commission (HEC) has officially opened applications for fully funded PhD scholarships under the US-Pakistan Knowledge Corridor Project, offering Pakistani students an opportunity to pursue advanced studies at leading universities in the United States.
According to the announcement, the scholarships are available for admission to institutions ranked among the top 100 in the QS World University Rankings.
Students securing admission in top 50 universities will receive full financial coverage, including:
- Tuition fees
- Monthly stipend
- Health insurance
Meanwhile, candidates admitted to universities ranked 51–100 will be eligible for:
- Up to $12,000 per year in tuition support
- Monthly stipend
- Health insurance
The scholarship program is part of Pakistan’s broader effort to strengthen its higher education sector. Through international exposure and research opportunities, the initiative aims to enhance academic standards and develop a skilled research workforce in the country.
