The Higher Education Commission Higher Education Commission (HEC) has opened registrations for the Law Admission Test (LAT) 2026 for students seeking admission to undergraduate LLB degree programs across Pakistan.
According to an official announcement, the LAT is mandatory for candidates applying to five-year LLB programs offered by universities and law colleges nationwide.
HEC stated that the online registration portal will remain open until May 25, 2026, and applicants have been advised to complete the process before the deadline to avoid inconvenience.

The commission further announced that the LAT examination will be conducted on June 21, 2026. Only candidates who successfully pass the test will be eligible to apply for admission to undergraduate law degree programs.
HEC has urged students to carefully review all registration requirements and complete their online applications on time.
