Pokemon Go is here, the fulfillment of many dreams for catching those magical little creatures in real life (or as real as it could be). However, the thing with Pokemon Go is that catching Pokemons in the game is only half the fun (or well, three-quarters of fun).
Note: Although the application is not officially available in Pakistan but you can download it through our guide.
To make it a complete experience, you also have to occasionally visit Gyms, places where you can really battle your Pokemons; and Pokestops, places where you can collect items such as eggs and more Poke Balls.
As noted by most Pakistani players, there is a lack of Gyms and Pokestops in Pakistan. It might be because the game not being internationally released yet. Still, we have managed to compile a list of places which are known to contain Pokestops and Gyms, thanks to other Pokemon Go players in the country,
Gyms
Pokestops
Hint: It seems that most of the Pokestops are situated around Mosques or big open parks.
Started by Imdad Khan, a number of helpful Pokemon Go players have pooled their information together to plot all the known Gyms and Pokestops on a map. As of yet, it contains around 65 locations in Karachi, 35 in Lahore, 63 in Islamabad/Rawalpindi, 3 in Multan, 1 in Rahim Yar Khan, 3 in Bhera and 3 in Abbottabad. You can click on the link below to head over to the map.
The green pins on the map indicate Gyms while the Red ones are for Pokestops. A few locations are also marked as blue to indicate a “Potential Pokestop”.
Pokemon Go is spreading like a wildfire in the woods, except that the woods is the whole world in this case! Even though it hasn’t even been released in Pakistan yet, thousands and thousands of players are already on board, roaming around the country to catch and fight Pokemons.
Note: If you know about any Pokestops or Gyms in Pakistan, leave a comment below and we’ll add it over here.
