Here’s when each of HMD’s Nokia phones will get Android Pie

HMD has been rolling out Android 9 Pie to its Nokia smartphones. The company has already updated quite a few of its smartphones to Android Pie, the most recent devices including Nokia 8 Sirocco. Now the company has shared a roadmap telling us when we should expect Android Pie on numerous other Nokia smartphones.

The roadmap consists of fifteen smartphones, out of which 5 (the Nokia 7 Plus, 6.1, 6.1 Plus, 7.1 and 5.1 Plus) have already received an update. The updates for the 8 Sirocco and 8 have been listed as “ongoing.” The remaining eight smartphones are expected to get an update in the coming quarters.

However, the Nokia 2 that was launched in February 2018 is not on the list so far. Here’s the list of the eight devices that would be getting an update soon:

  • Nokia 5: Jan 2019
  • Nokia 3.1 Plus: Jan 2019
  • Nokia 6: Q1 2019
  • Nokia 5.1: Q1 2019
  • Nokia 3.1: Q1 2019
  • Nokia 2.1: Q1 2019
  • Nokia 3: Early Q2 2019
  • Nokia 1: Early Q2 2019
