HMD Officially Launches Branded Phones in Pakistan

LAHORE: Human Mobile Devices (HMD), a European smartphone manufacturer known for its user-centric designs, has officially launched its brand in Pakistan. The company introduced a lineup of five devices: HMD Music 150, HMD Music 130, HMD Key, HMD Arc, and HMD Aura2.
HMD, the company behind Nokia phones and the official mobile partner of FC Barcelona, offers a range of smartphones and feature phones designed to cater to different user needs. The newly launched feature phones focus on durability and essential functionality, appealing to users who prefer a straightforward mobile experience.
Arif Shafique, General Manager of HMD Pakistan, highlighted the company’s commitment to the local market, stating, “We are pleased to bring HMD’s range of devices to Pakistan, offering products that emphasize innovation, quality, and usability.”
He also emphasized the company’s plans for local expansion, including distribution and manufacturing facilities, which could contribute to job creation and skill development in the region. “By establishing local production, we aim to support the economy, foster local talent, and develop solutions that align with the needs of Pakistani consumers,” he added.
The HMD Music 150, HMD Music 130, HMD Key, HMD Arc, and HMD Aura2 will be available in Pakistan starting March 25, 2024. With a diverse product range, HMD aims to provide options for various consumer preferences in the local market.
