Honor has added another model to its growing Play11 smartphone lineup. The new Honor Play11 focuses on a large display and battery. The phone features a 6.872-inch LCD with a 720×1592 resolution. It also supports a 120Hz refresh rate and reaches 1,020 nits of peak brightness.
For photography, the Honor Play11 has a 50MP rear camera. The main sensor uses an f/1.8 aperture. A 5MP camera is included on the front for selfies and video calls. The smartphone runs on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 4 Gen 4 chipset. It comes with either 6GB or 8GB of RAM. Storage options include 128GB and 256GB.
The biggest highlight is its 8,300mAh battery. Honor supports the phone with 45W wired fast charging. It also offers 7.5W reverse wired charging for other compatible devices. On the software side, the Play11 runs Android 16. Honor’s MagicOS 10 interface is installed on top. The phone also brings several durability features for everyday use.
The handset carries IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings for dust and water resistance. It has also been tested to withstand drops from heights of up to 2.5 meters. A fingerprint scanner is built into the power button on the phone’s side. Honor is offering the Play11 in four colors. These include Desert Gold, Midnight Black, Meteor Silver, and Mist Purple.
The base model has 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. It normally costs CNY 1,499 ($223). The 8GB and 128GB version is priced at CNY 1,699 ($253). The top model comes with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Its listed price is CNY 1,999 ($297). However, all three versions are currently available with a CNY 100 ($14) discount.
