The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) has announced planned power outages across multiple areas of its operational region on Monday for annual maintenance work and the installation of Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) meters.
According to an IESCO spokesperson, the outages will affect areas across the Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Attock, Chakwal and Jhelum circles. The company has apologised to consumers for the inconvenience, noting that supply may be restored ahead of schedule if work is completed early.
Rawalpindi Cantonment Circle
6:00am–10:00am: Khasala, Rose Lane, Kalyal, Gulshan Abad, Dhoke Noor, Shahpur, Adiala, Adiala Jail, Shagan, Defence Road, Humayun-1, Askari-14, PGHS, Sumar Zar, Morat, Kohala and Fatima Jinnah feeders.
7:00am–11:00am: Rahmat Abad-1, Takbeer-I, Chaklala and Kot Jabi feeders.
Rawalpindi City and Attock Circles
7:00am–11:00am (Rawalpindi City): Sector-IV, APHS and PAF feeders.
7:00am–11:00am (Attock): Attock Rural, Teen Mela and Bagh Nilab feeders.
GSO Circle and Grid Stations
9:00am–4:00pm: Power Transformer-1 at 132kV Grid Station RB Mangla.
8:00am–6:00pm: 132kV Chakwal–Bhagwal–Talagang, 132kV Kahuta City–Palandri, and 132kV New Wah, Bahtar Mor and surrounding areas.
