Flydubai has suspended all flights connecting Islamabad, Lahore and Peshawar until October 26, citing operational reasons confirmed by its Pakistan flight inquiry office.
Flights between Karachi and Dubai will continue without disruption, with the airline confirming regular operations from Jinnah International Airport despite suspensions elsewhere in Pakistan.
Flight tracking service Flightradar24 reported cancellations of Islamabad–Dubai, Lahore–Dubai and Peshawar–Dubai routes since May 7, including services FZ353, FZ354, FZ359, FZ360, FZ375 and FZ376.
Flydubai launched Islamabad and Lahore operations in July 2024, expanding to Peshawar in May 2025, marking significant growth of its Pakistan flight network.
A statement issued March 31 on Flydubai’s website confirmed reduced schedules across its network, advising passengers to check flight status before travelling to airports.
The airline said it continues monitoring regional developments and adjusting schedules accordingly, stressing passenger and crew safety as its highest operational priority during disruptions.
The US‑Iran war has sharply increased jet fuel prices, creating aviation’s worst crisis in years and forcing airlines worldwide to reduce scheduled operations significantly.
The International Air Transport Association warned last month that Asia could face the earliest impact from the jet fuel crisis linked to the Iran war.
IATA chief Willie Walsh stated airlines may reduce schedules during peak summer, anticipating fuel shortages and operational challenges across multiple regions, including South Asia.
