Islamabad Adds Two New M-Tag Counters for Faster Registration

Islamabad has expanded its M-Tag registration services with the launch of two new installation counters, one dedicated to journalists at the Press Club and another for the general public at Parade Ground. The move aims to streamline the process, reduce long queues, and make M-Tag services more accessible.

The counters were set up through collaboration between the Frontier Works Organization and the Excise and Taxation Directorate. Officials confirmed that the Director of Excise and Taxation is personally monitoring all installation points to ensure smooth operations and timely service for applicants. Residents are encouraged to use the Parade Ground counter due to heavy crowds at the Kachnar Park I-8 point.

Authorities say the expansion is part of a broader initiative to improve citizen services, minimize delays, and enhance convenience for M-Tag registration in Islamabad
