iPhone users in Pakistan can finally connect to the Jazz 5G network. Yesterday, Jazz announced that its next-generation connectivity is now active for compatible Apple devices.
To access the network, customers need a supported iPhone. Furthermore, they must update their handset to the latest iOS version. Finally, users have to manually enable the 5G settings while located inside an active coverage zone.
Jazz currently operates nearly 180 pilot 5G sites across major Pakistani cities. Consequently, the telecom company is pushing forward with a phased, nationwide rollout. This follows similar moves in the industry, as we recently covered Zong 5G network availability on iPhones in Pakistan.
Following a recent spectrum auction, Jazz strengthened its portfolio by securing multiple new bands. These specific holdings include the 700 MHz, 2300 MHz, 2600 MHz, and 3500 MHz frequencies. Ultimately, this strategic spectrum mix boosts both broader coverage and high-capacity services for current 4G and future 5G users.
Apple is not the only brand joining the 5G roster. Recently, Jazz also enabled 5G network compatibility for several Samsung Galaxy series devices. Therefore, the company continues to steadily expand its overall ecosystem of supported handsets.
This network rollout directly supports the evolution of JazzWorld into a broader digital ServiceCo. The company aims to integrate this next-generation connectivity with fintech, gaming, enterprise cloud solutions, and healthtech.
Khalid Shehzad, Chief Technology Officer at JazzWorld, commented on the recent development. He stated that iPhone compatibility highlights the growing readiness of Pakistan’s digital ecosystem. Moreover, he emphasized that Jazz remains focused on delivering reliable, future-ready connectivity to enable a seamless digital experience across the country.
