Punjab Food Authority (PFA) has sealed outlets of KFC and Hardees located on the Punjab Motorway after inspectors found rotten vegetables and expired sauces on the premises.
The action was carried out under the direct supervision of PFA Director General Salma Butt.
During the inspection, food safety officials identified multiple violations of hygiene standards at both outlets, including the use of spoiled ingredients and out-of-date condiments in food preparation.
Based on these findings, the authority ordered the immediate sealing of both establishments.
PFA has reiterated its commitment to ensuring food safety compliance across all restaurants and food outlets, warning that similar action will be taken against any establishment found violating hygiene regulations.
