According to the Central Police Office Peshawar, Inspector General of Police (IGP) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Zulfiqar Hameed formally handed over DJI Mavic 4T surveillance drones to representatives of 27 districts and seven police units during a ceremony held in Peshawar.
In addition, DJI Matrice 400 RTK drones featuring advanced thermal capabilities were provided to the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) in sensitive districts to support counterterrorism operations, intelligence-based missions and specialized surveillance activities.
Speaking at the ceremony, IGP Hameed said the modernization of KP Police remains a key priority and that the introduction of advanced drone technology will improve the force’s operational capabilities.
