Insomniac Games is giving fans a new reason to swing through New York City. Marvel Spider-Man 2 players will receive a brand-new outfit on July 28. This free download celebrates the upcoming theatrical release of Spider-Man: Brand New Day. Furthermore, the studio will release this update simultaneously for both the PlayStation 5 and PC versions of the game.

The Marvel Spider-Man 2 ‘Fresh Start’ Costume Details
The late-July update introduces the “Fresh Start” costume for Peter Parker. The suit draws direct inspiration from the upcoming Marvel Studios film. It features highly detailed textures from head to toe. Additionally, players will notice the iconic spider symbol placed prominently front and center. The design also includes specialized web-shooters mounted under each wrist.
However, fans should note one minor limitation. Insomniac Games will not include any additional suit styles or alternative colorways for this specific outfit. Once players download and install the update, they can easily redeem the new look. You simply need to equip it directly from the Suits tab in the main menu.
This addition marks the eleventh free suit developers have added to the game since its launch. Consequently, fans on social media are already expressing enthusiasm. Many players state they plan to start entirely new playthroughs just to use the Fresh Start suit.
