NAROWAL: In a generous gesture for the holy month of Ramadan, a petrol pump owner in Narowal has reduced the price of petrol to Rs. 254.24 per litre, down from the official rate of Rs. 257.24. This initiative aims to provide financial relief to the community during Ramadan and has been widely appreciated by local residents.

Rana Ashfaq, the petrol pump owner, has promised an even bigger discount for Eid. He says that throughout the day, petrol will be sold at Rs. 10 per litre less than the actual cost.

During his interview with reporters, he stressed the spiritual importance of giving during Ramadan, saying, “Helping others brings blessings and wealth multiplies when shared.”

In response to a question regarding how Ramadan might affect his company, he said that he aims to put charity before profit and that lower prices bring in more customers. Further, he urged traders and government officials to simplify people’s lives by reducing the prices of necessities.

Meanwhile, the federal government has also announced a marginal reduction in petrol prices, lowering them by Re. 0.50 per litre. According to the Finance Division, adjustments in international oil prices have resulted in the new petrol price of Rs. 255.63 per litre.
