Physical & Endurance Standards
Several roles require strict physical fitness. Specifically, candidates applying for Sub-Inspector, Assistant Sub-Inspector, Constable, and Constable Driver must pass a physical test.
First, male candidates must complete a 1.6-kilometer run in exactly seven minutes. Meanwhile, female candidates have 10 minutes to finish the same distance. Additionally, male candidates must stand at least 5 feet 6 inches tall and maintain a chest measurement of 33 x 34 ½ inches. Female candidates must measure at least 5 feet 4 inches in height.
