The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Rawalpindi has released a revised schedule for matriculation annual examinations that were postponed in Rawalpindi.
According to an official notification, the Urdu paper will now be conducted on May 2 in the morning shift, while the Geography paper will be held in the second shift on the same day.
A spokesperson for the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Rawalpindi confirmed that examination timings and centers will remain unchanged despite the revised dates.
The exams were postponed at 64 centers across Rawalpindi after the district administration declared a local holiday due to security arrangements linked to ongoing Iran–United States talks.
Authorities clarified that the postponement applied only to urban areas of Rawalpindi. Exams in other districts and suburban regions under the board’s jurisdiction continued according to the original schedule.
Students have been advised to follow the updated timetable and ensure timely attendance on the revised dates.
