Amid growing anticipation for the upcoming CMF Phone 2 Pro, Nothing has officially launched the CMF Buds 2, positioning them as a significant upgrade over the previous generation of CMF audio accessories.
Maintaining the visual identity of their predecessor, the CMF Buds 2 adopt a more refined interpretation of Nothing’s distinctive design language. The earbuds become available in three distinct color options, which include light green and dark gray together with orange.
The current update incorporates Dirac Opteo sound tuning, which improves audio output by utilizing 11mm custom PMI drivers contained within the CMF Buds 2. The addition of Ultra Bass Technology 2.0 boosts low-frequency output, satisfying those who prefer deep bass sound.
The key enhancement is the integration of a hybrid Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) system, which lowers ambient noise by up to 48dB over a frequency range of 5,200Hz. The adaptive mode of ANC automatically adjusts to the noises in your surroundings. Silicon Studio enhanced the earbud microphones, Clear Voice Technology 3.0, and spatial audio to improve call sound quality and listener happiness during spatial audio sessions.
Bluetooth 5.4 versions, as well as Microsoft Swift Pair and Google Fast Pair, are now compatible with wireless communication. Furthermore, dual-device coupling is accessible. The IPX2 classification classifies the charging device, while the IP55 rating protects the earphones from perspiration and spills.
The CMF Buds 2 have greatly enhanced battery life because they can play music for 13.5 hours on a single charge and up to 55 hours with the charging case. The result is around a 10-hour advantage over the first-generation earbuds.
The CMF Buds 2 include ChatGPT capabilities, a new feature that appears in Nothing’s smartphone portfolio. Because of their built-in AI, the earbuds can provide voice-driven smart assistance.
The CMF Buds 2 are now available for pre-order via the official Nothing webstore, priced at $59. Early adopters can take advantage of limited-time launch discounts, with shipments scheduled to commence between April 16 and April 18, depending on the region.
