Pakistan Airport Authority (PAA) has temporarily closed five air routes in Lahore’s Flight Information Region for two days due to operational requirements.
According to a newly issued NOTAM, the affected routes including the Jhang-Sargodha and Rait-Dera Ismail Khan corridors, among others will remain shut from 5:30am to 7:30am on both September 17 and 18.
During these hours, the routes will be unavailable to all flights from ground level up to an unspecified altitude. A PAA spokesperson said alternate air routes have been arranged for two-way flights to minimize disruption to passengers and airlines.
Flights arriving from or departing to Dera Ismail Khan during the closure window will be required to coordinate directly with Air Traffic Control. The authority reiterated that the route closures are strictly operational and temporary in nature.
