Pakistan’s IT and telecom export remittances saw a strong recovery in March 2026. The sector earned $413 million, according to the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP). This marked a 13 percent rise compared to $365 million in February.
The rebound came after two straight months of decline. In February, exports fell 3 percent from $374 million in January. Earlier, January also dropped sharply by 14.5 percent. It went down from $437 million in December 2025.
Despite monthly fluctuations, the yearly trend stayed strong. In March 2026, IT exports grew 21 percent year-on-year. They stood at $413 million, compared to $342 million in March 2025. February also showed solid growth when compared with last year’s $306 million.
Overall performance for the fiscal year remains positive. During the first nine months of FY2025-26, exports reached $3.388 billion. This reflects a 20 percent increase from $2.827 billion in the same period last year.
Meanwhile, the sector continues to show long-term expansion. IT and telecom export remittances reached $3.812 billion in FY2024-25. This highlights steady growth, even with recent monthly ups and downs.
