Direct flights between Peshawar and Lahore will begin on November 9, following an announcement by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi.
The new air service is being launched in collaboration with South Airways and will reduce travel time between the two cities to approximately 50 minutes to one hour. Initially, four flights will operate weekly, with the first flight scheduled to depart Peshawar for Lahore at around 1pm on November 9.
Kundi said the service would provide a convenient travel option for KP residents living in Lahore, including businesspeople and employees. He added that authorities were considering increasing flight frequency and exploring new air connections to Dera Ismail Khan, Chitral and Parachinar. The direct Peshawar-Quetta service is also operating successfully.
