Earlier today, we informed you that Pokemon Go is now worth a total of $3.65 billion in just a matter of 20 days. Now, the app has also crossed the 50 million downloads mark on Google Play Store alone! Ever since it was announced, the Pokemon Go has been a popular hit worldwide, being downloaded across the countries it is available in right now. Slowly, but steadily, Niantic is also increasing the availability of the game in more countries.

Also, an important point to mention here is that these 50 million downloads do NOT include the unofficial downloads that are carried out via APKs in countries such as Pakistan.

To better illustrate this achievement, the super-hit Instagram app on Android took 197 days to reach the 50 million download mark on Google Play Store, despite the fact that it was available globally. This is yet another record made by the phenomenal Pokemon Go game.
