The title primarily draws inspiration from the House of the Dragon series. This prequel timeline takes place nearly 200 years before Game of Thrones Season 1. Specifically, the events unfold 172 years before the birth of Daenerys Targaryen. Consequently, the game thrusts players into “The Dance of Dragons”, a brutal Targaryen war of succession.
