Recently, it has been reported that Punjab Agriculture Department (PAD), for the sake of promoting the high-tech mechanization in the province, would be organizing the two-day exhibition of ‘International Agri-Tech 2018’ at Expo Center Lahore. The show would be held on April 06 and 07 this year.

A representative of PAD stated that the exhibition’s prime purpose is to promote the advanced mechanization and educate the farming community that how to make use of the high-tech machines at the farm level. To enlighten them with the significant influence which this mechanization could bring to the field of agriculture.

It was added that the exhibition can prove to be a blessing for the agriculture sector because it would be the first time that the importers and exporters of the advanced agricultural machines would find a platform providing opportunities for their businesses to grow.

Simultaneously, our farmers would be able to get a bit inside the world of advanced technology as they would be provided with proper knowledge on how to use these high-tech services. Through which they will be able to lessen their input cost and expand their per acre yield without a hassle.

The spokesman revealed that the agriculture department has previously launched Horti Expo 2018 for the promotion of horticulture (gardening) and high-value agriculture business in Punjab. Through that event, Pakistan was able to unveil its horticulture products at international level.

Now, it is being hoped that Pakistan Agri-Tech 2018 shall remain successful as well and like before, the agri-tech related business institutes would be able to showcase their products and emphasize their importance, internationally.
