Punjab vehicle owners can save 10 percent on their motor vehicle token tax if they pay before August 31, 2026, the Excise Department has announced.
The department said the discount applies to all payments made on or before the deadline and that early payment will also help owners avoid late payment penalties.
Officials confirmed that token tax can be paid conveniently through the ePay Punjab platform, allowing vehicle owners to complete the process securely and transparently from home.
According to the Excise Department, ePay Punjab is a key initiative of the Punjab government aimed at promoting digital governance and offering citizens modern, secure, and efficient online payment services.
The department has urged all vehicle owners to pay their token tax before the August 31 deadline in order to benefit from the discount and avoid additional charges.
