Realme has introduced the Realme 16x as the latest smartphone in its Realme 16 series. The new model focuses on battery life, display quality, and durability. The Realme 16x packs a large 7,000 mAh battery with 45W charging support. It also offers all-scenario bypass charging and 6.5W wired reverse charging.
Up front, the phone features a 6.81-inch LCD with a 144Hz refresh rate. The display has a 1,570×720-pixel resolution and reaches 1,200 nits peak brightness. Panda-1681 glass protects the screen. The Realme 16x uses the Dimensity 6300 SoC with up to 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM. Storage goes up to 256GB, while the phone runs Realme UI 7.0 based on Android 16.
Realme has also promised two years of Android OS upgrades for the 16x. The phone will receive security updates for three years, giving buyers longer software support. For cameras, the phone has an 8MP selfie camera and a 50MP primary rear camera. The rear camera module also includes a Pulse Light that can be used for notifications.
The Realme 16x includes a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and 5,300 mm2 VC cooling. It also carries MIL-STD-810H certification and an IP65 rating. The phone can be used with wet hands or while wearing gloves.
The smartphone comes in Glory White and Endurance Brown. Realme offers three configurations: 4GB/128GB, 6GB/128GB, and 6GB/256GB.
