A new leak has revealed almost everything about the upcoming Redmi 17 4G, including its design, hardware, color options, and expected pricing. The latest information comes shortly after details about the global variant of the Redmi 17 5G surfaced online earlier this month. This time, the spotlight is on the 4G model.
According to the leak, the Redmi 17 4G will arrive in four color options. Buyers will be able to choose from Black, Deep Blue, Lotus Purple, and Oak Green. The phone is expected to have a large body, weighing 232g and measuring 8.8mm thick. It will reportedly use MediaTek’s Helio G91 Ultra chipset.
Redmi is also expected to launch the device in two storage versions. These include a 4GB RAM and 128GB storage model, along with a 6GB RAM and 256GB storage option. The smartphone is said to run Android 16 with HyperOS 3 out of the box.
On the front, the Redmi 17 4G could feature a large 6.9-inch display. The panel is also tipped to support a 120Hz refresh rate, which should deliver smoother animations and scrolling. Battery life could be one of the phone’s biggest highlights. The leak claims the handset will pack a massive 7,500mAh battery. It is also expected to support 45W wired charging.
For photography, the device may include a 50MP primary rear camera. On the front, users could get an 8MP camera for selfies and video calls. The leak also suggests that Redmi will equip the smartphone with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and NFC support.
As for pricing, the Redmi 17 4G is expected to start at €250 for the 4GB/128GB version. Meanwhile, the higher-end 6GB/256GB model could carry a price tag of €280.
Xiaomi has not officially announced the Redmi 17 4G yet. However, with its full specifications and pricing now appearing online, the smartphone’s launch may not be far away.
