Samsung has started rolling out the stable One UI 8.5 update for three more Galaxy smartphones. These include the Galaxy M55, Galaxy A16 5G, and Galaxy A17 5G. The update brings the May 2026 Android security patch for all three devices.
The Galaxy M55 is receiving the update with firmware version M556BXXU5DZE3. It also includes the May 2026 security patch. The update size is around 3GB. Samsung is currently rolling it out in India.
Meanwhile, the Galaxy A16 5G is also getting the stable One UI 8.5 update. It carries firmware version A166PXXU7DZE2. The update includes the May 2026 Android security patch as well. It weighs around 2.3GB. The rollout has started in India and Indonesia.
In addition, the Galaxy A17 5G is now part of the update cycle. It comes with firmware version A176BXXU5CZE9. It also installs the May 2026 security patch. The download size is about 2.4GB. Samsung is rolling it out in India, Nepal, France, Bulgaria, and Vietnam.
Users who have not received the update yet can check it manually. They can go to Settings and open the Software update menu. The update will appear once it reaches their device.
