The newly launched flagships, S9 and S9 Plus, by the Korean smartphone manufacturer Samsung are now available for pre-orders in Pakistan.

A week ago, Samsung took the curtains off its most anticipated flagships of the year, Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus at a dedicated event in Barcelona, just before Mobile World Congress kicked off. Interestingly, both of the flagships are making their way to Pakistan very soon.

Samsung’s official website for Pakistan has announced that the phones are available for pre-order and the early adopters will get a value coupon worth PKR 5,000. This means that Samsung is giving you the liberty to decide what you want to buy with your value coupon rather than pre-selecting a gift item to go with the gadget.

Official Prices

The official prices of Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9 plus as we earlier recommended on the launch are 103,000 PKR and 114,000 PKR. Both of these phones are available in 64GB storage version and the delivery is expected to be in 2 to 3 weeks. The pre-orders will continue until 10th of March.

Keeping in mind the international prices $740 and $840 for the S9 and S9 Plus. The official prices of S9 and S9 plus seems a bit far-fetched but the early adopters, I reckon, will go this far to get their hands on these beautiful devices.

What is new?

The Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9 plus can be called an improved version of S8 and S8 plus. The new iterations have a better finger sensor placement on the background.

Samsung Galaxy S9 boasts a 5.8 inches Super AMOLED display with 1440×2960 pixels resolution. It is powered by Exynos 9810 Octa paired with 4GB RAM and 64/128/256GB storage variants with microSD card slot available. Battery stands at 3000mAh and is non-removable.

Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus has all above with a bigger display at 6.2 inches and bigger battery at 3500mAh as well as 6GB over the traditional 4GB.
