Samsung has started rolling out the stable Android 17-based One UI 9 update for its Galaxy S23 and Galaxy Z Fold5 series. The update is currently available in South Korea, with beta users receiving it first.
The Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 Ultra are receiving the update with build version GZIF. For users enrolled in the beta program, the download is less than 500MB. However, users upgrading from the stable version can expect a larger package of around 3GB.
Meanwhile, the Galaxy Z Fold5 and Galaxy Z Flip5 are also receiving the stable One UI 9 update in South Korea. Samsung is expected to expand the rollout to non-beta users and other regions soon.
Users in South Korea who own any of these devices can check for the update manually. To do so, open Settings > Software update on the phone and tap the option to check for updates.
