Samsung has started expanding its One UI 9 testing beyond its newest flagship lineup. The company has already released two Android 17-based One UI 9 beta updates for the Galaxy S26 series. It is also testing One UI 9 on the unannounced Galaxy S26 FE.
At the same time, Samsung has now begun internal testing for the Galaxy S25 series smartphones. The exact build version of One UI 9 under testing has not been revealed yet. However, early expectations suggest the first One UI 9 beta for the Galaxy S25 lineup could arrive in the coming weeks.
Meanwhile, Samsung has already shared its rollout plan for the new software. The company confirmed that its upcoming foldable phones will be the first to launch with One UI 9 pre-installed. This means users will not need to wait for an update on those devices.
Samsung is expected to launch three new foldable devices this year. These include the Galaxy Z Flip8, Galaxy Z Fold8, and Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra. According to industry rumors, the launch event may take place on July 22 in London.
