Samsung is preparing to reveal its Galaxy S26 series on February 25, with the Ultra model expected to bring a unique screen feature. The Galaxy S26 Ultra will reportedly introduce a new Privacy Display technology, designed to protect sensitive content from onlookers.
Reports have suggested that this technology could eventually reach Apple’s MacBook lineup. According to the report, some MacBook models might adopt Samsung’s privacy display by 2029. If true, this would bring a new layer of privacy to laptops and could inspire adoption by other brands.
The Privacy Display works by narrowing viewing angles, so only the person in front of the screen can clearly see the content. Users will have the option to activate it for certain sections or turn it off completely.
