Tecno has officially launched the Camon Slim 5G, bringing an ultra-thin design to its latest smartphone lineup. The device measures just 6.39mm thick while packing a large 6,000mAh battery. It runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 7300e chipset, paired with 8GB of RAM and either 128GB or 256GB of storage.
The Camon Slim 5G features a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 1208×2644 resolution. It also supports a smooth 144Hz refresh rate for scrolling and gaming. Meanwhile, Tecno has equipped the phone with a 50MP main camera using Sony’s Lytia 700C 1/1.56-inch sensor and OIS.
The camera system also includes an 8MP ultrawide camera and a 32MP front-facing camera. Power comes from the 6,000mAh battery, which supports 45W wired charging. The phone runs HiOS 16 based on Android 16.
Tecno has promised three major Android updates and five years of security updates for the device. It has also received TÜV SÜD certification for “60 months of sustained fluidity.” In addition, the Camon Slim 5G carries IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings for dust and water resistance.
The smartphone also meets the MIL-STD-810H military standard for shock and drop resistance. Despite its slim body, Tecno is clearly focusing on durability alongside performance. This combination could help the Camon Slim stand out in the increasingly competitive mid-range smartphone market.
Tecno will offer the Camon Slim in six different finishes: Neo Mondrian, Gossamer White, Matisse Black, Rebel Pink, Van Gogh Blue, and Burgundy Red. Each version brings a different design treatment, giving buyers more visual options.
Neo Mondrian uses a photochromic panel that looks white before developing colored grid blocks under UV light. Matisse Black features black fiberglass with fluorescent green details, while Rebel Pink combines a black body with pink accents.
Van Gogh Blue uses a patterned gradient coating designed to resemble a rotating nebula. Burgundy Red features fiberglass with a matte, velvet-like finish. Meanwhile, Gossamer White creates a floating 3D illusion inspired by a butterfly wing.
