The Tecno Pova 8 appeared on the Google Play Console last month, which confirmed its upcoming launch. Now, the Pova 8 Pro has also been spotted through new certifications.
This new certification shows that Tecno is preparing to expand the Pova 8 lineup. The Pova 8 Pro will join the standard model in the company’s smartphone range. Meanwhile, it will serve as the successor to the Pova 7 Pro, which was launched last summer.
The device has been certified by TÜV Rheinland and the FCC. These listings reveal key hardware details. The phone carries a rated battery capacity of 6,340 mAh. It will likely be marketed as a typical 6,500 mAh battery.
In addition, FCC documents show the phone’s design outline. The device measures 162 x 77 x 8 mm. This suggests a slim but tall build for a large battery phone.
Connectivity options are also confirmed through the certification. The Pova 8 Pro supports 5G, NFC, Bluetooth, and dual-band Wi-Fi. These features place it in the modern mid-range category.
Storage and memory details have also surfaced. A variant with 12GB RAM and 512GB storage is listed. However, other configurations are also expected at launch.
Overall, the certifications indicate that the official launch may not be far away. The Pova 8 Pro is shaping up as a strong upgrade in Tecno’s Pova series.
