Toyota Gazoo Racing (TGR) has introduced an enhanced version of the GR Corolla in Japan, featuring improved performance and a newly developed 8-speed automatic transmission. Utilizing Toyota’s rich motorsport background, the revamped model features improved handling, faster acceleration, and superior cooling for peak performance.

The GR Corolla upgrade features a standout addition: the 8-speed GAZOO Racing Direct Automatic Transmission (GR-DAT). The latest transmission featured in the GR Yaris offers faster shifts and enhanced driving control, making it perfect for both track enthusiasts and daily commuters.

Toyota GR Corolla Features

The Japanese-spec GR Corolla made its debut in the US in August 2024, showcasing a range of innovative features tailored for the local market. The interior of the car presents a more upscale and dynamic design.

This feature engages anti-lag control, increases the speed limiter, and converts the instrument panel into a specialized recording display through a unique application. The sophisticated display offers instant driving information, enabling drivers to enhance their performance on the track.

Toyota is providing upgrade kits for existing GR Corolla owners, enabling them to incorporate the newest performance improvements. These kits come with suggested components and installation steps to ensure your vehicle remains perfectly balanced.
