The Sindh Revenue Board (SRB) has announced 95 prizes, including two cars, in its fourth computerised prize ballot draw held on Tuesday for customers who verified their Point of Sale (POS) invoices.
The prizes included a 1600cc car and a 1300cc car as bumper prizes, along with motorcycles, TVs, refrigerators, tablets, mobile phones, smart watches and cash awards, according to details shared by the tax authority.
The draw covered 217,525 verified invoices submitted between April 8 and September 21, 2026. This marks a significant rise from the 3,260, 8,734 and 90,937 invoices covered in the first, second and third draws respectively, reflecting growing customer participation in the verification scheme.
SRB Chairman Dr Wasif Ali Memon presided over the ceremony, where officials briefed participants on the prize scheme and the measures in place to ensure transparency in the draw process.
Under the scheme, businesses offering retail services, including restaurants, beauty parlors and gyms, are required to integrate their POS invoicing systems with SRB for real-time reporting of transactions.
Customers can verify the authenticity of their invoices by scanning the QR code printed on the receipt or entering the SRB invoice number through the “eSRB” app or the SRB website. Once verified, invoices are automatically entered into the computerised ballot draw.
SRB officials said the incentive scheme is designed to encourage customers to demand POS-integrated, verifiable invoices. They added that the initiative improves transparency around taxes paid, strengthens tax compliance, and promotes a wider culture of documentation in business transactions.
