Usman Institute Of Technology Wins 23 Projects In Ignite’s Startup Program

In recent news, the Usman Institute of Technology has won 23 projects in the Ignite startup program. The National Grassroots ICT Research Initiative (NGIRI) had selected the 23 projects from 70 different departments of UIT. More than Rs. 1 million have been awarded to the selected students behind these projects.

The concept of this program is to assist the students to help develop their prototypes i.e. their Final Year Projects (FYP) and enhance creativity, innovation, and hands-on engineering. Such programs are sure ways to enable students to start their businesses and leverage benefits for the country.

Ignite envisions the enhancement of the industry through the implementation of the latest technologies and ensuring a knowledge economy in Pakistan.
