Vivo has launched the Watch 6 alongside its new X500 smartphone series in China. The smartwatch comes in titanium and stainless steel case options. The Watch 6 features a 45mm case and a 1.47-inch AMOLED display. It offers a 466×466 resolution and a 60Hz refresh rate.
The display has a 1.49mm bezel and reaches up to 3,500 nits of peak brightness. A sapphire crystal protects the screen from scratches and daily wear. For health tracking, the watch includes optical heart rate and blood oxygen sensors. It also packs an accelerometer, gyroscope, geomagnetic sensor, barometer, and ambient light sensor.
Connectivity options include Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, and dual-frequency GPS. The watch also has a microphone and speaker for calls and other audio features. Vivo has equipped the Watch 6 with its proprietary BlueOS 4.0 software. Power comes from a 505mAh battery with several endurance ratings.
According to vivo, the battery can last up to 21 days with light use. That figure drops to 6 days with the Always-On Display enabled. With eSIM connectivity, battery life is rated at up to 4 days. The actual runtime will depend on how the watch is used and which features remain active.
The stainless steel model comes in Wilderness and Moonlight color options. It costs CNY 999 ($149) without mobile data and CNY 1,399 ($208) with eSIM support. The titanium version is sold only with mobile data connectivity. It is priced at CNY 1,999 ($298).
For now, vivo has not confirmed whether the Watch 6 will launch outside China. The company could share more details about international availability later.
