Yadea Expands in Pakistan with Launch of Four New Electric Scooter Models

Yadea, a Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer, has increased its footprint in the Pakistani market with the introduction of four new models: the C16, a three-wheeled vehicle, and three scooters (GT30, GT60, and Ezeego). The Lahore launch ceremony was a big deal for Yadea because the e-scooter business in Pakistan is expanding at a rapid pace.

The GT30, currently the only model with a publicly disclosed price, is available for Rs. 189,000. It boasts a range of impressive features, including hydraulic shock absorption, pedal assist, a powerful 1000W motor, energy-efficient LED lights, and a durable 60V23Ah graphene battery.

There are three color options for the GT60 model: black, white, and grey. In the original announcement, the GT60’s specifications were not disclosed in detail.

Among the Ezeego’s remarkable features are its 72V38Ah graphene battery, motor (rated at 1.2kW/2.4kW max continuous), stated range of 102 km/charge, and a top speed of 45 km/h. Ash grey, jet black, flaming red, arctic white, and amethyst purple are some of the available colours.

Finally, the C16, a three-wheeled electric vehicle, has a 72V23Ah battery, 650W motor, 70 km/h top speed, and 70 km/h range.

The e-scooters G5, Ruibin, and T5 are already available in Pakistan through Yadea. The rising number of female riders and the relative affordability of electric two-wheelers are contributing factors to the company’s growth. Also, the company’s decision shows that they are hopeful about the future of electric vehicles in Pakistan.
