Starting July 15, 2025, YouTube will roll out a significant update to its YouTube Partner Program (YPP) guidelines. This makes it harder for creators of repetitive, mass-produced, or low-effort content to earn money on the platform.

On July 15, 2025, YouTube is updating our guidelines to better identify mass-produced and repetitious content. This update better reflects what ‘inauthentic’ content looks like today.”
