12th All Pakistan Youth Carnival begins at IST Islamabad

12th All Pakistan Youth Carnival just started at the Institute of Science and Technology in Islamabad today.

Youth Carnival with the participation of about 50 universities from all over Pakistan, is one of the largest events which includes 57 different events and will continue for the next two days.

The carnival covers a diverse mixture of events providing youth with a means of interest to a wide variety of potential. The students are provided with a platform to participate and show their planning, technical, artistic and cognitive skills in various fields included in the competition.

DG National Engineering and Scientific Commission, Nisar Hussain Chughtai inaugurated the IST Youth Carnival. Event head Dr. Najam Abbas gave an overview of the whole event and its continued legacy of 12 years. He also emphasized on the importance of co-curricular activities in building student personality.

Below is the list of activities that will take place in the next two-days at IST.

At day 2: The program will start with Hamd/Naat Competition (Male and Female) and later will feature various activities including Poetry and Bait-Baazi, Extempore Speech (Urdu and English), Smart Innovation Challenge, Space Park Design Competition, Paper Tower Challenge, Air Crash Inquiries, Circuit Design, Speed Wiring, Line Follower. Wall Graffiti. Glider Flying, Bridge Structure Design, Drag Chute Competition, Sketching Competition, Painting Competition, Drama and Mimes, Table Tennis, Futsal, and Basketball.

At day 3: The program at the last day of event will begin with the Declamation (Urdu And English), and later will continue with activities including Pakistan Affairs Quiz, Sustainable Development Goals Solutions, On Spot Selfie IYC, On Spot Fast Film, Short Film Competition, PCB Design Competition, Water Rocket, Wind Mill Challenge, Recycle To Model, Copter Flying Competition, Robo-War, Table Tennis, Futsal and Basketball.
