Samsung Rolls Out Game Booster+ for a Smoother Gaming Experience

Samsung is enhancing the gaming experience for Galaxy users with the introduction of Game Booster+, an upgraded version of its Game Booster app. However, there’s a catch—this new feature is currently available only in South Korea as an add-on for the Good Lock app. A global rollout is expected soon.

Game Booster+ brings exciting new capabilities, allowing users to manually label apps as games, remap keys, and access advanced GPU settings. This means gamers can customize in-game controls, assigning different keys to improve their gameplay, and even create unique profiles for each game.

Two major additions to GPU settings include Texture Filter and PreTransform. Texture Filter improves the quality of in-game textures, while PreTransform optimizes screen rotations in Vulkan-based games by reducing GPU load. Users can choose from Default, Performance, or Quality modes to suit their gaming needs.

Additionally, Game Booster+ allows users to manually add applications and classify them as games. This is particularly useful for apps that aren’t officially recognized as games but could still benefit from Game Booster optimizations. With this new functionality, users can enable Game Booster features for any app they choose.

While currently limited to South Korea, Samsung is expected to expand Game Booster+ availability to other regions soon.
