Samsung has officially rolled out the world’s first 500Hz OLED gaming monitor, the Odyssey OLED G6. This launch sets a new benchmark in display performance for competitive gamers.
What Makes the Odyssey OLED G6 Stand Out?
Samsung’s new 27-inch OLED monitor, the Odyssey OLED G6 (model G60SF), delivers an unprecedented 500Hz refresh rate and a lightning-fast 0.03ms gray-to-gray response time. Designed specifically for high-speed, competitive gaming, this monitor ensures fluid visuals and near-instant reaction times.
The display offers QHD resolution (2560×1440) and is powered by Samsung’s QD-OLED technology, which blends the deep contrast of OLED with the color vibrancy of quantum dots. This provides gamers with vivid, accurate visuals even in the most intense gameplay scenarios.
“With the Odyssey OLED G6, the world’s first 500Hz OLED gaming monitor, we are pushing gaming performance, visual quality and immersion to entirely new heights,” said Hoon Chung, Executive Vice President of Visual Display Business at Samsung Electronics.
The Odyssey OLED G6 is debuting in Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, and Malaysia, with other international markets to follow. The retail price is expected to be around Rs 1,27,112 (approx. $1,488).

To address the common OLED issue of screen burn-in, Samsung introduces OLED Safeguard+, a combination of:

This thermal management system is touted as five times more efficient than traditional cooling methods, extending the display’s longevity during extended gaming marathons.
