Lahore Board Introduces Email-Based Rechecking System
The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Lahore has officially opened online rechecking applications for the Intermediate Part-II Second Annual Examinations, offering students a more reliable and transparent process. The initiative aims to ensure timely communication and reduce missed rechecking schedules.
According to a Lahore Board spokesperson, students who apply online will now receive their rechecking dates through email notifications. This new digital system replaces the earlier SMS-based method, which often caused students to miss important updates.
Previously, rechecking schedules were shared via SMS, but many candidates failed to receive messages due to technical issues. As a result, several students missed their rechecking appointments. To resolve this long-standing issue, BISE Lahore has shifted to email-based communication for better accuracy and record-keeping.
Controller of Examinations Tahir Javed stated,
“The move to email notifications will help ensure that no student misses their rechecking date and will improve transparency in the examination system.”
The board has confirmed that online rechecking applications will be accepted until January 10. Students have been advised to submit their applications well before the deadline to avoid last-minute inconvenience.
