Record-Breaking Proactive Removal by TikTok
The report reveals a significant achievement in efficiency. TikTok’s proactive content removal rate in Pakistan hit an all-time high of 99.8%.
Furthermore, the speed of these actions was unprecedented. The platform removed 95.9% of the violating videos within just 24 hours of their upload. This swift response ensures that harmful content is intercepted before it reaches a wide audience.

On a global scale, TikTok removed over 204 million videos (204,534,932) during the same period. This figure represents approximately 0.7% of all content uploaded to the platform worldwide. Notably, automated technologies were responsible for taking down nearly 187 million of these videos.
