Xiaomi has revealed new details about its upcoming Redmi Turbo 5 Max smartphone ahead of its launch in China later this month. The company confirmed key features, including the chipset, battery, and charging options.
The phone features a massive 9,000mAh battery, which Xiaomi claims can sustain performance for up to 1,600 charge cycles. It supports 100W PPS wired charging, 27W reverse wired charging, and bypass charging. The battery also comes with a five-year warranty.
According to the source, in internal tests, the Turbo 5 Max reportedly lasted 43 minutes longer than a rival phone with a larger 10,000mAh battery. This shows that its battery is not only large but also highly efficient.
The handset is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500s chipset and features a dual-rear camera setup for versatile photography. While an official launch date has not been announced, pre-orders are already open on Xiaomi China’s website.
