Xiaomi may have launched the 15T and 15T Pro last September, but attention is already shifting to what comes next. Fresh details suggest the company is working on the Xiaomi 17T. The information reportedly comes from the HyperOS 3 code. The same source previously revealed battery details for the Poco X8 Pro and Poco X8 Pro Max.
This time, the leak outlines key specifications of the upcoming 17T. At first glance, the camera hardware looks familiar. Xiaomi is said to keep the same setup found on the 15T. The phone will feature a 50MP main camera with OIS. It will also include a 50MP telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom. In addition, users will get a 12MP ultrawide camera.
The Xiaomi 17T will reportedly pack a 6,500 mAh battery. That is a 1,000 mAh increase over the 15T. Despite the larger battery, charging speeds remain unchanged. The device will still support 67W wired charging.
Performance is also getting an upgrade. The Xiaomi 17T is expected to run on the Dimensity 9400 SoC. This marks a clear step up from the Dimensity 8400 used in the 15T. As a result, users can expect better speed and improved efficiency.
For now, these are the only details available. Since the Xiaomi 17T is expected to launch in September, more leaks will likely surface in the coming months.
