The Punjab Boards Committee of Chairmen (PBCC) has extended the admission schedule for the Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) 1st Annual Examinations 2026, providing additional time for students to submit their forms. The HSSC Part II exams are scheduled to begin on May 20, 2026.

According to a notification issued by the Higher Education Department Lahore, new deadlines have been approved for submission of admission forms.

Those opting for submission with a triple fee can apply from March 3 to March 12, 2026. The earlier cut-off date for triple fee was March 9.
Exam and Result Schedule
The HSSC Part II (12th class) annual examinations will commence on May 20, 2026.
The notification also shared tentative result dates. The result of HSSC Part I (11th class) is expected to be announced on September 23, 2026, while the HSSC Part II (12th class) result is likely to be declared on October 22, 2026.

The extension is expected to benefit thousands of intermediate students across Punjab who were unable to submit their admission forms within the earlier deadlines. Education authorities said the revised schedule aims to ensure maximum participation and facilitate students ahead of the annual board examinations.
Punjab’s eight educational boards conduct HSSC exams annually, with hundreds of thousands of candidates appearing in Part I and Part II examinations each year.
