The Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) has said that the final result of CSS 2025 will now be announced in April 2026. In a public notice issued on Monday, the commission informed candidates that the result has been delayed due to administrative matters. It explained that the final number of successful candidates will be decided only after the 54th Common Training Program (CTP) begins.
The commission shared that the 54th CTP is likely to start on March 27, 2026, at the Civil Services Academy in Lahore. Once the training batch properly starts, the final number of vacancies in different service groups will be confirmed. The merit list for CSS 2025 will then be prepared according to those approved seats.
In past few years, CSS results were announced within a few months after the written exams and interviews. This time, however, the delay is connected to the decision about how many posts are available in various occupational groups. According to the officials allocations cannot be finalized until those vacancies are officially approved.
