The Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) has increased the quarterly stipend under the Benazir Kafaalat Program from Rs13,500 to Rs14,500, providing additional financial support to low-income families across Pakistan.
The announcement was made by BISP Chairperson Rubina Khalid in a video message, where she advised beneficiaries to ensure they receive the full payment of Rs14,500 when collecting their stipends.
Officials said beneficiaries who receive less than the official amount can submit a complaint at the nearest BISP tehsil office. Applicants should report the issue to the assistant director or another relevant official and request a complaint form regarding any unauthorized deduction or misappropriation.
While filing a complaint, beneficiaries must provide their name, CNIC number, mobile phone number, payment location, and details of the deduction.
According to BISP officials, the complaint will be formally investigated. If the claim is confirmed, the relevant bank will be directed to take legal action against the responsible agent, and the deducted amount will be returned to the beneficiary.
