Poco is set to introduce its next flagship smartphones on Tuesday, with the Poco X8 Pro series going official during a global livestream. The launch event begins at 12:00 pm GMT, which is 5:00 pm PKT and 8:00 pm Beijing time. Viewers can watch both the Poco X8 Pro and the Poco X8 Pro Max unveiled in real time.
This launch marks an important update for Poco’s premium lineup. While the company has not revealed the full specification sheet yet, it has shared key highlights through its official X account. Those early details already show clear differences between the two models.

The Poco X8 Pro Max stands out with a larger 6.83-inch display, compared to the 6.59-inch screen on the Poco X8 Pro. The Max model also runs on the more powerful Dimensity 9500s chipset. In contrast, the standard Pro uses the Dimensity 8500-Ultra processor. As a result, the Max is expected to deliver stronger overall performance.
Battery life is another major difference. The Poco X8 Pro Max packs a massive 8,500mAh battery. Meanwhile, the Poco X8 Pro includes a 6,500mAh cell. Both devices support 100W HyperCharge for fast wired charging. However, the Max model goes a step further with 27W reverse charging support.
In terms of durability, both smartphones carry IP68 and IP69K ratings. They feature metal frames paired with fiberglass back panels, giving them a premium finish. Camera hardware also looks promising. Each phone comes equipped with dual 50MP cameras, although complete camera details will be shared during the live stream.
Interestingly, Poco will also release a special Iron Man Edition of the Poco X8 Pro. This follows the same strategy used for the Poco X7 Pro, which received a themed variant as well.
